COSTA MAYA YOGA
We're dedicated to making various forms and levels of yoga available to everyone. We teach Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, and Sivananda Hatha Yoga in the traditional Indian methods.
We offer classes, courses, and workshops and teacher trainings that shed light on the interpreting and incorporating the nature of yoga with all other aspects of life. We welcome your questions, feedback and insights as you and we evolve.
There will be no correct clothes - there will be no right answers - there will be no glorified teachers - there will be no ego trips - no you are not good enough - no you are not rich enough - this sweating and breathing - this knowing and glowing feeling - is for the tall and for the little - for the weak and for the strong - for the old and for the young - this Yoga is for everyone ॐ
All first started with her Scuba diving career. Yoga came throughout the people she met, evolving into a passion of pushing her limits and connecting mind and body. She first started the teacher training to deepen her own knowledge of Yoga and ended up as a teacher at the Costa Maya Yoga family.
Marylee believes the body is an intelligent vehicle, and yoga gives us the key to understanding and reclaiming our body and mind.
We're a unique yoga studio located directly by the caribbean sea dedicated to recovering what we believe to the essence of Yoga: a traditional Yoga philosophy and practice available to everyone.

Our founder Simone, and all of our instructors are here to help inspire both you and your practice. Since our styles are diverse, we encourage you to come try a variety of classes.
Owner and Instructor
Simone is a 750-Hour Hatha Yoga teacher, after her first teacher training she continued and became a Vinyasa and Yin Yoga teacher who knows the power of honoring where you are even as you seek to expand yourself. Yoga is the science of feeling whole again: Simone invites students to join her on the mat, come back to themselves, and rediscover the space, stillness, and natural joy that live within us at each moment.
